Lead Scheduler
POSITION PROFILEWorks with inventory control and other CC functional areas to ensure timely and accurate delivery of specified equipment to customers.
Coordinates installs with sales or account managers.
Uses database and spreadsheet tools to analyze data and process workflows.
Takes lead on aged inventory in Staging.
Provides limited back up to the SPRV, Dispatch - SchedulingJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPre-calls customers to set up Deliveries, pick-ups and relocationsPrints and scrubs the Ad Hoc ReportPrints BOL'sUpdates the delivery system with scheduled date and notesEmails delivery notifications to Order Processing.
Updates Oracle DFF notes, CC notes or the Zoom ScreenCreates Manual orders in the delivery system when needed.
Responsible for scheduling orders in staging to ensure the CC hits cycle time requirements.
Runs staging report and maintains staging bucket inventoryResponsible for weekly RMA report and ensures that proper holds are placed on aging orders.
Works with Sales and OM to cancel orders requested by customersKey contact for area conference calls on large installationsProvides assistance to other Schedulers on broad range of problems.
Conducts OJT training for new and experienced Schedulers as required.
Effectively handles more difficult internal/external customer situations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
One year of customer service experience is required.
Must have adequate reading, math skill, and ability to write legibly Strong Customer Presentation and Communication SkillsDatabase and spreadsheet skills are required.
Proficiency in MS Office is required.
