Technical Sales & Marketing Engineer
Thompson Pipe Group is currently seeking a Technical Sales & Marketing Engineer for our southern California facility. This is a local position whose territory is Southern California. Daily duties revolve around the promotion of reinforced concrete pipe, precast box culverts, manholes, tunnels, and precast structures.
Primary Responsibilities Include
Develop and maintain relationhips with State, County, local Municipal agencies, Sanitary Districts, and Water Management Districts.
Work with and act as a technical resource for design firms and engineering specifiers
Work in concert with the sales team to protect and secure projects
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering
Prior experience in precast concrete industry, construction or building material sales preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, CRM systems, etc
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
