Overview:
The primary objective of this position is to lead and participate in initiatives to improve processes and methods that drive operational excellence. Performs process evaluation, improvement and/or re-engineering in support of Logistics Center Operations, Configuration & Integration Operations and related Supply Chain activities. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:
Leads engineering projects at the network level as well as at the individual logistics centers. Provides thought leadership on cross functional projects with management, customers and other departments to improve productivity, capacity and utilization. Applies Lean methodologies to identify, support and lead process variation, engineering process optimization and waste reduction projects. Conducts capacity and utilization analysis for inventory management and allocation planning for the Logistics Centers and network. Performs UAT (test-script creation and testing) for SAP driven processes as needed. Primary owner for the development of new process documentation and facilitates change control of existing Logistics processes updating as required. Ability to travel as needed, 25% Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Operations Engineering, or other relevant field. 5 years' experience in process engineering, industrial engineering or other relevant field, or 3 years' experience with Master's Degree. 5 years' experience in Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills; a team player, yet able to work independently when necessary. Demonstrated use of analytical skills to solve engineering problems. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
